OUR MISSION:

D.O.S. srl, manufacturing company of Tartufi di Fassia Line, was founded in 1940 by the founder Natale Olivieri, a young man with a lot of willpower who moved from a very small village located above Norcia in the heart of the verdant Umbria to Foligno as a boy and assistant in a butcher's shop. With many sacrifices he manages to open his shop where he produces and sells cured meats and other typical pork products. In the 1970s, the company passed to his son Domenico. On the shop window stands the Domenico Olivieri Specialità sign, hence the initials D.O.S.

Domenico expands production by creating excellent products in oil such as: artichokes, stuffed olives, dried tomatoes, herring fillets, anchovy fillets. In addition, the production is divided into different sauces such as liver pate, game pate, olive sauce and artichoke sauce. The commercial turning point came when the truffle sauce was invented. This product gives a great boost to the diffusion and prestige of the brand.

In the early 90s the company passed into the hands of the third generation led by Domenico's daughter, Alessandra and her husband Davide. Thanks to their resourcefulness, the company develops exponentially. A new factory is purchased, equipped with machinery that facilitates production while remaining highly artisanal. The range of products is directed mostly towards truffle specialties and third party production.
